Power Ratings
Wysong fiber lasers are available in a wide range of power ratings, from 2 kW to 30 kW, each tailored to specific material types, thicknesses, and production goals. The power level of a fiber laser directly affects its cutting speed, thickness capacity, edge quality, and operational efficiency.
2 kW to 4 kW fiber lasers are well-suited for shops that focus on light-gauge materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum up to around 1/4″ thick. These systems offer excellent cut quality and are highly efficient for thin-sheet processing, making them ideal for industries like HVAC, signage, and electrical enclosures.
6 kW to 12 kW fiber lasers provide a significant boost in cutting speed and material thickness capability. These mid-range systems strike a balance between versatility and power, cutting mild steel up to 1″, stainless steel up to 1/2″, and aluminum with excellent edge quality. They are often used in job shops and contract manufacturers where the range of material types and thicknesses varies daily.
15 kW to 30 kW fiber lasers represent the high-performance end of the spectrum, built for heavy-duty cutting of thick plate with exceptional speed and minimal dross. These machines are increasingly popular in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, heavy equipment, and large-scale metal service centers.

Wysong offers a range of fiber laser table sizes designed to meet the needs of various fabrication shops, from compact operations to large-scale production environments. The table size of a fiber laser cutting machine directly influences the maximum part dimensions, sheet handling capacity, and production flexibility.
Standard table sizes include 1500 x 3000 mm (5′ x 10′) and 2000 x 4000 mm (6.5′ x 13′), which are the most common formats in the industry.
For shops that cut larger parts or thicker plate, Wysong offers large-format fiber lasers with tables up to 2000 x 8000 mm (6.5′ x 26′) or even longer on request. These extended bed systems are designed for structural steel, heavy equipment, and architectural fabricators who require oversized component production.
