American-Made Press Brakes from Wysong

Built to Last. Made and supported with pride in the United States.

When you invest in a press brake, you’re making a decision that affects your shop floor for decades. Where that machine is built, who stands behind it, and how quickly you can get support when you need it all matter. Wysong American-made press brakes are assembled at our facility in Greensboro, North Carolina, where our team handles all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work before the machine ever leaves our door.

Over 20,000 Wysong machines are still in production worldwide, and our American press brakes carry that same commitment to durability and precision. Every unit goes through an average of 40 hours of quality assurance testing before shipment, so the machine that arrives at your facility has been checked, run, and verified by the people who built it.

How We Build Our American-Made Press Brakes

Our made-in-USA press brakes start with machine frames and select components sourced from our manufacturing partner, MVD. From there, every press brake is assembled at our 110,000-square-foot facility in North Carolina. Our technicians complete all electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, hydraulic system integration and tuning, quality control, and UL Certification onsite, ensuring each machine meets the standards maintained by the Wysong brand for over a century.

This approach gives us direct control over the build quality of every press brake that ships with our name on it. It also means the people who assembled your machine are the same people available to support it after installation. When you call Wysong for technical help, you’re talking to the team that knows your equipment from the inside out.

Why Fabricators Choose American Press Brakes

Buying from press brake manufacturers in the USA is about more than preference. It’s a practical decision that affects your uptime, your costs, and how fast you can get help when something needs attention.

Domestic support is the most immediate advantage. With Wysong, field service technicians, parts, and engineering support are all based here in the United States. You’re not waiting on overseas shipping for a replacement component or navigating time zone differences to troubleshoot a control issue. Our team has hundreds of years of combined experience with fabrication equipment, and that knowledge is a phone call away.

Lead times are another factor. Supply chain disruptions have made delivery timelines unpredictable for imported machines. Because our press brakes are assembled in North Carolina, we have greater control over production schedules and can provide more reliable delivery windows.

There’s also the matter of long-term value. Wysong press brakes typically operate for 20 to 30 years or more with proper maintenance. We still have machines from the 1970s running in daily production. That kind of longevity starts with quality assembly, and it’s sustained by accessible parts and responsive service.

Press Brake Models Available

Our American-made press brakes are available across the full range of Wysong press brake platforms. Whether you need heavy tonnage for structural plate forming or precision capacity for lighter gauge sheet metal, we build to your application.

Hydraulic press brakes are available from 44 to 1,100 tons across our MB, MC, and MD Series. These machines are built around heavy-duty welded steel frames with CNC controls, Wila crowning systems, and servo-driven backgauges for accurate, repeatable bending in demanding production environments. Our hydraulic models are a strong fit for shops that need maximum forming power and the flexibility to handle a wide range of materials and thicknesses.

Electric press brakes in our MS and ME Series offer energy-efficient forming from 25 to 220 tons. These are designed for operations that prioritize speed, lower operating costs, and reduced maintenance compared to traditional hydraulic systems.

Our MH Series hybrid press brakes combine hydraulic forming power with electric efficiency, giving shops a versatile middle ground that performs well across mixed production runs.

Every model can be configured with the controls, tooling, safety systems, and backgauge options that fit your specific workflow. Our engineering team evaluates your parts and processes before recommending a configuration, so you get a machine that’s sized and equipped for the work it will actually do.

Service and Support from Our US-Based Team

Buying a press brake is a long-term commitment, and so is our support. From the day your machine ships, Wysong provides field service, control upgrades, machine rebuilds, operator training, and direct phone support from our North Carolina headquarters.

Our service technicians have decades of hands-on experience with Wysong equipment. When you call in for technical support, you’ll be connected with a live person who can help, not a call center. If the issue requires on-site attention, our field technicians can be dispatched to your facility. We also offer comprehensive operator and maintenance training, both at your location and at ours, so your team is confident running the equipment from day one.

This level of support is a direct benefit of working with a US-based press brake manufacturer. Your machine, your parts, and your service team are all in the same country and operate on the same timeline.
