Every hydraulic shearing machine in our lineup pairs a heavy-duty welded steel frame with a Cybelec touchscreen control and a servo-driven CNC backgauge, so operators can program parts in seconds and repeat cuts accurately across a full shift. What Is a Hydraulic Shear Machine?
A hydraulic shear machine uses hydraulic cylinders to drive an upper blade past a fixed lower blade, cutting sheet metal and plate in a straight line with no chips, heat, or burned edges. Because hydraulic pressure holds through the full stroke, the machine keeps steady cutting force on thick or high-strength material that would overload a flywheel-driven shear.
Hydraulic shears come in two main designs. A hydraulic guillotine shear drives the blade beam straight down, while a swing beam shear pivots the blade on an arc. Adding CNC controls lets the operator set blade gap, rake angle, and cut length from the control screen, which cuts setup time and scrap on high-mix work.

Wysong offers two hydraulic shear platforms. Both include a Cybelec 12G touchscreen control with AutoCut, automatic blade gap and cutting angle calculation, and a servo-driven CNC backgauge. A sheet support system and CNC sheet feeder are available on both.

MC Series Hydraulic Shears

Hydraulic or Mechanical Shears: Which Fits Your Shop?
Hydraulic shears are the right fit when you cut heavy plate, stainless steel, or a mix of thicknesses. They deliver more cutting force, adjustable blade clearance, and on the MC Series, variable rake that adapts to each material. The tradeoff is cycle speed.
Mechanical shears use a flywheel and clutch to drive the blade, reaching up to 300 strokes per minute on light- to mid-gauge sheet.
